By using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, approving artwork, accepting a quotation, making a payment or placing an order with J Designo, you agree to the Terms & Conditions that apply to the relevant interaction or project.

If you are acting on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to provide instructions and approvals on their behalf.

J Designo is the trading name of Jalal Design and Artwork Services LLC, based in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Use of this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes connected with learning about J Designo, requesting information, obtaining quotations and communicating with us.

You must not use the website to:

• attempt unauthorised access to website systems, accounts or data;
• introduce malware, harmful code or automated activity that disrupts the website;
• submit fraudulent, misleading, abusive, unlawful or infringing content;
• copy, scrape or reproduce website content in a way that interferes with our services or infringes applicable rights;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to place an order.

Quotations and pricing

Quotations are prepared using the information available at the time, including quantity, size, material, finishing, artwork status, production requirements, delivery, installation and any other relevant specification.

A quotation may change if the project specification changes, if previously unknown production requirements become apparent, or if the information provided by the customer was incomplete or inaccurate.

Unless a quotation expressly states otherwise, a quotation is not an obligation to commence production until the required confirmation, artwork approval and payment conditions have been satisfied.

Orders and project confirmation

An enquiry, WhatsApp message, contact form submission or quotation request does not by itself create a confirmed production order.

A project is considered confirmed when J Designo has received the approvals, information and payment required for that specific job and has accepted the order for production.

Payment terms

Payment requirements, deposits, balances and payment timing are determined by the quotation, invoice or written agreement for the specific project.

• Production may be held until any required deposit or advance payment is received.
• Final production, delivery, collection or installation may be subject to outstanding payment requirements.
• Additional work requested after approval may be charged separately.

Where a written quotation or invoice contains specific payment terms, those project-specific terms apply to that order.

Customer-supplied artwork, files and content

Customers are responsible for ensuring that information and material supplied to J Designo is accurate, complete and lawful.

This includes, where applicable:

• names, spelling, dates, phone numbers, addresses and prices;
• dimensions, quantities and product specifications;
• logos, photographs, illustrations, fonts and brand assets;
• QR codes, barcodes, URLs and other scannable or machine-readable content;
• claims, disclaimers or regulatory wording supplied by the customer.

By providing material to J Designo, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions or authority to use and reproduce that material for the requested project.

Artwork proofs and customer approval

Where J Designo supplies a digital proof or artwork for approval, the customer must review the proof carefully before approving production.

Approval confirms that the customer has reviewed the visible content, including spelling, layout, names, numbers, dimensions, logos, QR codes, contact information and other project details shown in the proof.

Colour, screen previews and print variation

Colours displayed on phones, monitors and other screens can differ from printed output because screens and print use different colour systems, materials and lighting conditions.

Colour appearance can also vary depending on paper, vinyl, acrylic, fabric, coating, lamination, ink, substrate and finishing method.

Reasonable colour variation between production batches may occur. Exact spot-colour or Pantone matching should only be expected where it has been specifically agreed as part of the project specification.

Dimensions, cutting and production tolerances

Printing, cutting, fabrication and installation processes can involve reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Small variations in dimensions, trimming, placement, alignment or finishing may occur unless a specific tolerance has been expressly agreed in writing for the project.

Customers should notify J Designo before ordering if a project has an unusually strict dimensional, colour, alignment or engineering requirement.

Materials, samples and repeat orders

Samples, mock-ups, previous jobs and digital visuals are useful references, but the final production batch may show reasonable differences caused by material availability, substrate batch, manufacturing method or finishing process.

A repeat order may therefore not be visually identical in every respect to an earlier batch unless a specific matching requirement has been agreed in advance.

Turnaround and completion times

Production and completion times are estimates unless J Designo expressly confirms a guaranteed deadline in writing.

Turnaround normally depends on receipt of the required payment, final approved artwork, complete specifications and any information or access needed to complete the project.

Delays caused by late approvals, customer changes, missing information, supplier issues, access restrictions or events outside our reasonable control may affect the expected completion date.

Delivery and collection

Where delivery is included, the customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery location, contact person and access information.

Delivery timings may depend on couriers, traffic, building access, site rules and other circumstances outside J Designo’s direct control.

Customers should inspect delivered items reasonably promptly and notify J Designo if there is a genuine production or delivery issue.

Installation and site work

For signage, glass frosting, wall graphics, window applications and other installation work, the customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the installation area unless otherwise agreed.

Where relevant, the customer should:

• ensure building or landlord permissions are in place where required;
• provide accurate site information and measurements where requested;
• disclose known issues with walls, glass, surfaces, wiring or structures;
• ensure the work area is reasonably clear and accessible;
• inform us of building access hours, permits or security procedures.

Electrical, structural, civil or specialist building work is included only where it is expressly stated in the quotation or agreed scope.

Changes, cancellations and custom production

Because many J Designo products are custom-made, cancellation rights may depend on how far the project has progressed.

If a cancellation or major change is requested after design work, material ordering, fabrication, printing or production has started, the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred and work already completed.

Any refund, credit or cancellation decision will take account of the project status, the terms of the applicable quotation and any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.

Defects, reprints and project remedies

If you believe there is a genuine manufacturing, printing, fabrication or installation defect, contact J Designo with the project details and clear photographs where possible.

We may need to inspect the item or installation before confirming an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include correction, repair, reprint, replacement, credit or another reasonable solution.

Customer-approved content errors, changes of preference after production and issues caused by incorrect customer-supplied specifications are treated differently from production defects.

Intellectual property

Customer-owned logos, trademarks, photographs and supplied content remain the property of their respective owners.

J Designo retains ownership of its website content, original templates, internal production methods, design systems and other proprietary material except where rights have been expressly transferred or licensed in writing.

Rights in custom design work created specifically for a customer may depend on the applicable quotation, payment status and written project agreement.

Project photography and portfolio use

J Designo does not rely on these Terms as automatic permission to publish every customer’s artwork, confidential project or branded material.

Project photographs, case studies or customer branding may be used publicly only where J Designo has appropriate permission or another lawful basis to do so.

Third-party services and links

The J Designo website may link to external services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, social networks, payment services or other third-party websites.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. J Designo is not responsible for external websites or platforms that it does not control.

Events outside our reasonable control

J Designo will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Examples may include supplier disruption, transport or courier delays, power or internet outages, building access restrictions, equipment failure, severe weather, governmental action or other unforeseen events.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, J Designo’s responsibility for a specific project will be assessed with regard to the agreed project scope, the nature of the issue, the customer’s own instructions and approvals, and any applicable written quotation or agreement.

J Designo is not responsible for indirect losses arising solely from information, specifications, artwork or approvals supplied incorrectly by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Unlawful, infringing or unauthorised content

Customers must not ask J Designo to reproduce material that they know they are not authorised to use or that is unlawful, fraudulent or infringing.

J Designo may refuse or stop a project where supplied material appears unlawful, infringes third-party rights or creates a serious legal or compliance concern.

Privacy and personal information

Personal information submitted through the website or during a project is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Project-specific terms take priority

A quotation, invoice, signed approval, written project scope or other written agreement may contain terms that are more specific to a particular project.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where relevant, the laws and regulations applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between the parties will be subject to the competent courts or authorities having jurisdiction in Dubai, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

J Designo may update these Terms & Conditions when its services, website, production processes, business practices or legal obligations change.

The current version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
